Pharmacy Networks offers a rich set of features for owners of pharmacy chains to streamline the communication and operations across the chain.

Pharmacy Networks provides an easy-to-use web-based system for messaging, task management and the recording and reporting of key business data to bring clarity and control to pharmacy business operations.

Let all pharmacies know about any important changes to procedures or other company announcements via a noticeboard visible on the pharmacy network home-page at each pharmacy.

Compose Message

Messaging

Send messages to selected pharmacies or all pharmacies in the chain and receive messages from pharmacies on ad-hoc requests for support and information. Include attachments and links to other modules within Pharmacy Networks. Head Office can see when shops have actually read the messages.

Task Management

Set tasks for selected pharmacies or all pharmacies in the chain and monitor progress on tasks across all pharmacies by checking which pharmacies have completed tasks and which pharmacies have tasks outstanding.

Online Forms

In addition to standard online forms for timesheet submissions, cash takings and item recording, Head Office can easily create custom-designed online forms for other standard requests such as locum or maintenance requests or data collection. Form fields include help text as well as other standard fields for text, date and number entry. Submitted forms can be collated and exported to Excel for reporting.

Contacts

Set up contacts for all shops to include, for example, the preferred suppliers for the whole business. Set up contacts for individual shops for local suppliers and health centres. Each pharmacy may also set up its own contacts.

Role-based Access

Set up system users with locations so that specified users can supply information from multiple pharmacies as well as user roles that determine which users get access to selected features of the system.

For larger pharmacy chains, pharmacies can be grouped into regions for reporting purposes and to make it simpler to send messages and set tasks at regional level.

Upload documents such as procedure documents, standards and official forms to a document library to ensure each pharmacy always has the most up-to-date version of each document.

Takings Report

Management Information

Extract information from cash takings, timesheets etc. either in report format or as a CSV file for import into Microsoft Excel. Banking record tools allow for quick and easy reconciliation with bank statements.

Security

Pharmacy Networks offers customisable security features with options for location passwords, user passwords, and IP address verification. The system can also operate over a secure SSL connection for added peace-of-mind.

Bring staff up to speed quickly and easily. By using clear layout and context-sensitive help for each function, the system helps pharmacy staff to learn without the need for training sessions. The system is accessed via a standard, familiar web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Set up its own contacts as well as having general contacts set up by Head Office allowing part-time or locum staff to quickly find your approved local suppliers.

Shop Calendars

Each shop has its own calendar with task reminders and notes.

Dosettes

Dosette Reminders

Enter dosette boxes into a daily diary that automatically provides reminders of which dosette boxes are required on which days and for whom. The dosette tool integrates with the shop calendar.

Inter-Branch Transfers

Make requests to other pharmacies for products which can then be confirmed or rejected. A record is kept of all inter-branch transfers and the value of goods exchanged for accounting purposes.

Inter-Branch Messages

Pharmacies can send messages to other pharmacies in the chain and to Head Office to make ad-hoc requests, raise operational issues, send reminders for bill payment, etc.

Timesheet Submission

Submit timesheets to Head Office via an online form with hours broken down by activity, absence and overtime. Enter the hours day by day throughout the week or at the end of the week as required.

Access to Documentation

Download the latest version of procedures and other official documentation provided online via a categorised list. There is no need to store paper versions of internal forms or discard old versions when updated forms arrive.
